10 Love Songs that made me Stop and think Hi people!Howdy? So, this weekend is basically very tiring as my lessons end very late... So far, no project but they did warn us a new one is coming soon. Lately, I have been listening to a lot of music, well partly because American Idol has started again and this season is just cool and awesome man. Especially it has one funny Asian in it and as an Asian myself, I feel proud to have an Asian in the show! XD So, here are the list of love songs *sad and happy* that I think are worth listening to... :) 1. Lately - Stevie Wonder Ok, so Stevie Wonder was the one who first sang this song back in the old days and I entered this song again when I watched American Idol. One of the contestant (one of my favourite!!!) Colton Dixon, sang this song and I think it was perfection. He did justice to the song! Search it in Youtube.... NOW!! 2. Haven't Met You Yet - Michael Buble Yeah.. Yeah, I know I'm a sucker for him... :P This song tells about a man who knows that his true love is out there somewhere and he just hasn't met her yet... :) *the vid is cute! 3. I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston This woman is simply incredible and one of the best singers of all time. I totally have deep respect for her and I think this song is one of the most memorable songs that was sang by her. Listen to it and don't tell me that you are not moved by it... at all... 4. If You're Not The One - Daniel Bedingfield It is a lovely song and I am attached to it. It has a lovely tune and lovers everywhere, this song is just meant to be heard by you all. 5. Right Here Waiting - Richard Marx Truly an eternal song, this song simply can't be ignored... :) 6. Home - Michael Buble Yes, I know... Him?! AGAIN?! Yes, this song is just so good and too good to be turned away! It was originally sung by Blake Shelton, but I prefer Buble's version. And yes, this can be a love song... :) Depends on how you interpret it. 7. Take My Breath Away - Berlin Somehow, I have a soft spot for this song.. :) First time I heard it, I fell in love with it. Now, still do! I think this song is just great. Not only that, as you all Top Gun lovers are aware of, this song is famously associated with it. 8. My Heart Will Go On - Celine Dion Ok, who has NEVER seen Titanic? You're crazy right? Hahaha This song is just recognized internationally and no wonder why. It is touching and enchanting, especially, when you saw the movie... I would always cry when I saw Leonardo float away to the depth of the sea... :( He was just so young and handsome! 9. 25 Minutes - Michael Learns To Rock Wow. It is just sad and convey so many emotion. The lyrics were perfect and the rhythm was flawless. 25 minutes man, just 25 minutes! LOL 10. Let's Stay Together - Al Green Yes, I first listened to it when President Obama decided to have fun with it... ;) I quickly searched for it and I adore it! It's easygoing, nice and the rhythm is catchy. However, I love the Maroon 5 version of it. So, listen to it and tell me what you think! :D So, here we are. These songs are not arranged in order of favoritism. You may or may not agree with it but I definitely love them! Have a nice week and hope you'll listen to them!! :))) P.S. My sis has been literally, begging me to mention this song. Here it is, Ate Quem Sabe. Try to have a listen to it for all of you who love calming and smooth, relaxing song. I decided to put this song for you to listen too! It is romantic and just lovely to hear... :)
DPA DPA and DPA.... :P and exciting news! HELLO PEOPLE!!!!Basically, today our T04 group was split up. It was because today we officially started a new class from each of our school (Business, Engineering, Applied Science, IT and HSS). It was sad and definitely different but thankfully, the students were funny and sociable in my new environment! Aww... MISS YOU T04!!!! The class was.... Let's say it was a bit dry and kinda boring... Maybe because it was the first lesson????? Well, hope that the next lessons will be more enthusiastic and humorous! *crossed my fingers Anyhoo, is anyone here familiar with the name SAMMY DEE or ZUNNYD??? Well, if you are not... SEARCH THEM IN YOUTUBE... cause they're awesomely funny! :D Well, what I didn't know was that both of them are in Temasek Poly!! As in they study here! IMAGINE MY SURPRISE!! What was more amazing was our group of girls in T04 (including me!!) was asked to do a bit of filming with them!!!!!! Crazy? YES! But, it was totally worth it... The video is up and you can watch it in youtube. It is in TPTV channel. It is the EP 1 and it talks about life in TP and stuffs that are related to it. So, if you have the time. DO search it! Haha And do not forget to like it or suscribe to it! :D Another thing is I know that Ary aka one of my DPA close friends posted photos and write things in her blog as a dedication to all of us! Personally, I think it is really cool of her to do so and I am really thankful for it. :D I want to do so, but I want to keep this blog public without revealing who I am to the public (except for those who know me) as this blog contains like a quarter of my thoughts... (posting photos and lots of names would reveal me) Therefore, I want to say thank you to my DPA friends for all the things they've done and for being amazing close friends to me... :) I know that maybe none of them will ever read this but at least, for the very least, they know that I am thankful for it and this is just another way of me sharing my thoughts to the world. Peace out! Stay safe and live free.... P.S. Song of the day : BOYCE AVENUE! I never heard this song before but Boyce Avenue did a great job with it!
DPA :) Hi everyone!Whatssup? Currently, my life is filled with two important projects... Tomorrow is my Japanese project! Going to do Jap drama with full Japanese language with no cue cards or anything to help me!!! Insane?! YES So, gotta memorize and TOTALLY will do it after this... hehehe Anyway, today was a lot of fun! It was definitely a non-stop laughing day... All my DPA friends kept on doing all sorts of things and let's just say they are all crazy like me. So, the situation was totally perfect. Yes, there is no doubt that I miss my secondary school friends especially my bestie. Today is her birthday. Sadly, we couldn't really meet each other... :( She is definitely one of the most important people in my life. I hope that after DPA ends, all of my DPA friends won't forget me... They are special and well, let's just say one of a kind. Haha They're crazy, nuts bunch of people that are irreplaceable. So, this DPA experience is memorable and I do not regret it. I will end this post by saying everyone has their happy ending, it's just a matter of time. Never lose hope in things that are new or maybe uncomfortable to you. This DPA experience has taught me that. :) P.S. Ever heard of Will Young? This guy has a unique voice. Give it a go... :D
10 Songs that Have an Impact on Moi! Hell-o peeps! So, yes, tomorrow I have two tests!! TNS and Jap Listening Test! How am I going to do it? Simple, NO IDEA! O.O Ok, so far I've been studying TNS and now it's time for me to revise my Jap *insert sad face Ok, so why am I posting this right now? Amidst all the crazy stuffs I have to study, I still want to take a break and just enjoy my time for maybe... 10 minutes? So, here is my 10 minutes, spent on blogging about the 10 songs that I think really had an impact on me. When I said impact, it means really affect me in any kind of way (mostly sentimental, though). HERE WE GO :D 1. Never Gonna Leave This Bed - Maroon 5 It is no secret that I am a big fan of Maroon 5. However, among all their songs, I think this song has a really beautiful lyrics. It is like between two lovers who are never gonna leave each other no matter what. Corny? Yeah..... ;) 2. What If - Kate Winslet Kate Winslet? Yes, the actress who played in Titanic people!! LOL Ok, she may not be the best person to sing this, but she sounded great in here. :) Somehow, when I listened to this song, I felt calm and at ease. It is a sad song but it just gave me a sense of peace and tranquility. 3. Kissing A Fool - Michael Buble / George Michael (the guy from Wham!) This song is a great jazz song. No doubt about it. Both singers are great in singing it and they bring different styles to it. Michael's deep, rich voice gave me tremors and George's cool, calm voice just made it sound unbelievable. Listen to it, I dare you. ;) 4. I'll Be - Edward McCain First time heard it in a movie (check my previous post!) and it is just simply breathtaking. The scene was perfect and this song just made my heart melt. Check it out peeps! 5. It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference - Alison Krauss When I first heard this song, it just blew me away. It is simply a calm, composed song. When I listened to it, it reminded me of a wet, cloudy evening when the sky was a bit bright and I would be in a little, wooden house near the stream with an acoustic guitar in my hand (though I couldn't play a guitar... haha) 6. Charades - Grease 2 The singer was not really great in this song. Let's be honest, Grease 2 is not really up to the standard of Grease. Grease was definitely the best! However, this song captured my attention because it seems so sad and the guy who sang this seemed so helpless. 7. I Don't Want to Miss A Thing - Aerosmith Who did not get affected by this song? That would be a total lie! Aerosmith is one of the greatest rock band EVER! This song is sweet and Steven Tyler just rocked this! 8. Lost - Michael Buble I am not ashamed to say that I am a Bublette! But, this song is simply perfect when you were heartbroken or sad or just on the edge of breaking down. Michael's voice just added more to the song. 9. Nao se esqueca de mim - Nana Caymmi and Erasmo Carlos Reason why I love this song is that it is just relaxing and touching. It is the soundtrack of my favorite telenovela of all time, India A Love Story! It has ended here but I will always remember it through this song. :) 10. Fix You - Boyce Avenue I never intended to listen to this song, but Boyce Avenue brought me to it. They did lots of covers but this one is simply ethereal. His voice gave me goosies (like J-Lo! LOL) and he did justice to this song. Ok, so far these are the songs that I really feel connected with. :) WAIT! IT IS NOT THE END! I will post more songs that I think really affected the way I feel. These songs are just the cream of the crop. ;) Gotta study now! Bye! P.S. I miss my bestie... That is all.
Assignments, people and COLIN FIRTH?! Yo!What's up people?! Ok, so these last few days I've been drowning in assignments and homework. Many projects are coming up and it seems that things just got weirder? HOW WEIRD? Well, compared to my own weirdness, it is pretty weird.... So, I met new friends, new students in Poly (duh!). However, some can be pretty weird... Like weird to the extend that they become annoying... Yeah, not exactly the kind of people that you want to end up with but oh well, just gotta keep moving on and stay calm. KEEP YOUR COOL Yes, that statement had been engraved to my mind since last week... Anyhoo, what does Colin Firth had to do with this?! Ok. NOTHING O.O except for keeping your cool part? I just happened to notice news about Colin Firth in Yahoo that involves a brawl and him keeping calm. Well, it would have been normal had it not happened inside an airplane and police stormed inside it. Ok, just check the story out cause I think he is real cool for keeping calm and even more concerned about his family instead of trying to break up the fight and injured himself or saying some vulgar stuff that would make a twelve year old cried. LOL Oh, I am totally in love with this song! It's called I'll Be and the first time I heard it was when I watched A Cinderella's Story starring Hillary Duff and Chad Michael Murray. For me, this movie is really wonderful because it is definitely not shallow and it really states the importance of education for us, women! Yes, we often dream about finding prince charming but we still have a life peeps! And this girl in this movie really showed us that life is also about finding yourself and staying true to your character in any circumstances. So, have a try! Watch the movie and listen to the soundtrack cause it is worth it. :) Cao peeps! P.S. Here's the link to the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWqLtXXzldk&feature=fvwrel And another reason why I love this movie is her best friend is totally adorable (in a geeky way XD) and halloween party was awesome!
